Legislative act envisages improvement of the regulations of the effective Law appertaining to the quality and safety of dairy products. 

 

Pursuant to the Law, "traditional dairy products include butter, cheese, fermented baked milk, sour milk, acidophilic milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, kefir produced from dairy raw material by means of established technologies with the use of ferments from pure lactid-acid and other bacterial cultures".

 

Pursuant to the document "milk, dairy raw material and dairy products produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine shall comply with the standards of quality and safety determined by Ukrainian Law".

 

A relevant Bill is registered under Reg. No 0923.
